6. Do the Projected Capacitive Multi-Touch monitors need a calibration utility for Windows XP or Windows 7 operating systems?
No, you don't need a calibration utility for Windows OS. The Projective Capacitive is scanning the matrix of X and Y axial and mapping with preset coordinates, working like digital switch, then determinate the coordinate, as soon as the relative position of the touch sensor and LCD panel is fix, the coordinate will be always accurate.
It is possible for you to install the Touch Kit driver then execute the 4 points calibration, but the Windows embedded HID driver will be removed consequently. The SAW and Resistive touch are working by detecting the analog ratio of the point that you touch then determinate the coordinate, because the ratio may related to the senor characteristics, it need to do the calibration to touch the corners and compare to the defined value on the driver then adjust accordingly.
7.Do I lose Multi-Touch features if a driver is installed on my Projected Capacitive Multi-Touch monitors?

14.No touch after fresh driver installation.
More than likely this is due to a resource conflict. The touchscreen cannot share an IRQ with another device in your system configuration, even though the other device may support IRQ sharing. Use the OS Device Manager to display and eliminate any resource conflicts.
